truSculpt iD is a non-invasive, fat-reduction powerhouse of a treatment for body contouring. We can’t stress enough how obsessed we are with this treatment. The overall experience of this procedure is effortless, comfortable, quick, and efficacious. It sounds too good to be true, but would you believe us when we say that our Woodland Hills truSculpt iD patients come back again to do this treatment in other areas because of how happy they are with their results?
Utilizing monopolar RadioFrequency energy with Real-Time Temperature Control this treatment gives a consistent result. truSculpt iD is treated with 6 palm sized paddles that emit pulses of energy which heats up the target fat cells until they are safely destroyed. Each session is 15-minutes, yet for many of our patients, you have the option to treat two or more body areas, which would require you to stay longer.
We will first assess the treatment area to see how to place the paddles. Once we’ve decided the game plan, we will apply and then wrap with a plastic wrap to hold them in place. When the treatment starts you will feel a warming sensation and will gradually increase in heat. The heat is very comfortable and relaxing. There are other treatments offered elsewhere that claim the same yet that is not the case. Patients that have tried various devices have continued to come back to us due to the comfort and the results. Once the treatment has ended you will notice that your skin is red, a little swollen and a bit sweaty; the perfect recipe for the perfect result. This is what we want to see. It is not sensitive to the touch. You may workout and continue with your normal activities. We can’t stress that enough – there is absolutely no downtime.
After a treatment of truSculpt iD Woodland Hills patients will begin to see results in about 6-8 weeks post procedure, but the final results will appear at around 12 weeks. On average you will need 1-2 sessions, but this depends on the amount of fatty tissue in the treatment area. We will have you come in for a follow-up to take your after photos and make a side-by-side comparison to show you the exciting results! Side note: it is quite common for patients to call saying they don’t see anything and when we take the progress photos they are absolutely thrilled to see how much improvement they got. That’s our favorite part of our jobs, seeing you smile!
